Hilbet is made from chickpea, and bean powder, and mixed with boiled water. It is then served with chili pepper sauce on it along with green chili pepper and soft injera. Bean flour is rich in minerals and vitamins, it contains iron, magnesium, and copper.
Hilbet is used for late breakfast, lunch, and even dinner.
